    Sales Associates are the face of the company. They interact with every person who shops with us. Our Sales Associates are the reason 7-Eleven has so many loyal customers! Communication skills are necessary to be a successful Sales Associate. Courteous professional interaction with customers, co-workers and managers is important to maintaining this position. In addition to selling products, Sales Associates handle financial transactions, keep the store and parking lot clean, and stock items on shelves. The work schedule for Sales Associates can change each week, and they often work weekends, nights and holidays.

     

    Part-Time employees have the ability to work up to 25 hours per week with flexible hours.

    Duties

    • Welcome customers with a pleasant greeting, provide excellent customer service and always close with a “thank you.”
    • Operate the Point of Sale pursuant to company standards; maintain proper cash levels
    • Replenish products and supplies to ensure in stock items at all time
    • Complete all store housekeeping functions (i.e., cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.)
    • Represent the 7-Eleven brand by exemplifying 7-Eleven Core Values
    • Actively participate in Plan to Succeed Operations Model and all company required training programs

    Qualifications

    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers
    • Flexible and adaptable to change
    • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
    • Desire to be a part of a performance-driven team
    • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask with minimal supervision
